Katie Beim-Esche

Choir Director and Director of FFCS

Katie was born and raised in St. Louis. A lifelong musician, she studied vocal music education at Webster University and taught general elementary music in the Parkway School District for eight years. During this time she gained an interest in Aesthetic Education making this the focus of the final project for her Master’s program at Washington University. It was this study that God used to begin a season of complete transformation as she came to faith in Jesus Christ, was baptized, and then studied at Covenant Seminary receiving a MA in educational ministries. Alongside directing the choir, she serves as the founder and director of the Fellowship of Former Christian Scientists (FFCS) reaching out to people with a similar background to hers.
