Kathleen Chapell has been a member of Covenant Church for 21 years. Born and raised in Alton, Illinois, Kathy received her Bachelor and Masters degrees in music from Southern Illinois University, where she majored in Music Performance and Music Education. Kathy and her husband, Rev. Dr. Bryan Chapell, served for ten years in pastorates in southern Illinois prior to coming to St. Louis, where Dr. Chapell serves as President of Covenant Theological Seminary. The Chapells have four children: Colin (married to Heather), Jordan (married to Suzanne), Corinne (college student at Covenant College), and Kaitlin (a middle-schooler).
