Sara was born and raised in a small coastal town in Florida.  After 18 years of living near the beach and rooting for the Florida Gators she moved to Lookout Mountain, Georgia where she attended Covenant College.  Sara graduated in 2001 with a B.A. in History and moved to Saint Louis to attend Covenant Theological Seminary.  She spent 3 years at the seminary studying God’s word, forming life-long friendships, playing Frisbee golf, perfecting her lemon pie and sweet tea recipes and trying to figure out what to do with her life.  Sara graduated in December of 2003 and began working at Twin Oaks Presbyterian Church with the children’s ministry and youth ministry.  During her four years at Twin Oaks she met her husband, Alexander, in 2005 while on a mission trip in Scotland.  After 2 long years and a mountain of immigration paperwork they were finally able to get married in November of 2007.  Sara began working with the children at Covenant Presbyterian Church in January of 2008.   Sara spends her spare time watching her husband study for school, washing dishes, ironing handkerchiefs, reading blogs, and wasting time watching reality television.
