About: Vision Statement, Children's Ministries

The children's ministries of The Covenant Presbyterian Church take seriously God's command to "tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord" (Psalm 78:4). God's Word clearly illustrates the blessings of obedience and the consequences of disobedience to this command. Similarly, we believe that as Jesus called the children to Himself, today He calls them to experience the depth and richness of a genuine relationship with Him.

Therefore, the vision for the children's ministries of The Covenant Presbyterian Church is:

The Covenant Presbyterian Church's children's ministries exist to glorify God by equipping the Covenant church family to "tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord" so that children may

• be brought into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ
• gain a firm foundation of biblical truth
• reach out to others in service
• connect with fellow believers
• worship the Lord with prayer, praise, adoration and thanksgiving

In order to implement our vision, the church emphasizes that our ministries will be Christ-centered, covenantal and faith-building.
