Children's Library

The children's library offers over 500 solid Christian reading and audio resources. These materials are designed to aid in the maturing of our covenant children's Christ-centered faith, wisdom, and character.

Children's Worship - Who? When? Where?

Children's Worship is for children ages four through six and is designed to help prepare children to participate fully in corporate worship with their family

Children's Worship meets during both Sunday morning services. Just before the sermon, during the final stanza of the hymn of preparation, children meet their worship leader at the front of the sanctuary. They then walk together to the Children's Worship room

Following completion of the service, children may be picked up in room 10 which is located downstairs next to the children's library

What Does My Child Do in Children's Worship?

During the Children's Worship time together children follow an order of worship, just as in "big church." The order of worship includes a Call to Worship, Apostle's Creed, Prayer of Intercession, Hymn, Lord's Prayer, Scripture Lesson, Doxology.

The children are encouraged to memorize the Apostle's Creed and the Lord's Prayer and each month worship hymns are sung.

During the Prayer of Intercession the children are encouraged to share prayer requests, just as adults do during the Sunday evening service. Scripture lessons cover both the Old and New Testament. On Communion Sunday, or for a baptism, the worship leader discusses these sacraments with the children.

We pray that through Children's Worship and family worship experiences, each child will be encouraged to sincerely and reverently join in worship with the Covenant church family.
